This is My… Kitchen with Anissa of House Seven

Whether you are an “order in” family (guilty – sometimes) or a make-everything-from-scratch home, everyone loves a beautiful kitchen. It’s the most used space in the house!

For our second “This is my” post, we feature Anissa, mom of three girls, interior stylist and founder of the creatively chic design blog, House Seven.

We love Anissa’s aesthetic – fresh and comfortable with both traditional and modern elements. Her palette is clean and earthy while her accessorizing adds a fun pop. Take a look at Anissa’s favorite space, her kitchen, and the special details that make it lust-worthy (and the appropriate backdrop for family memories).

A family space
Our kitchen is open and spacious so it allows us to spend a lot of time in here as a family, cooking together and just catching up on our days.

Favorite family moment
One of my favorite times of the week is Sunday evenings when my husband prepares a giant meal while we drink wine and listen to music and the kids dance and sing all around us! It’s loud and fun and I wouldn’t change a thing!

My only request
When we remodeled our kitchen, the one thing I was sure of was that I wanted Carrara Marble and the butcher block. The counters are my absolute favorite part of our kitchen! The marble is clean and bright while the wood brings warmth to the space. I think they are perfect as a pair.

All moms must have this…
My other must-have in my kitchen renovation was the farm sink. I can’t imagine life without it now because not only has it made washing dishes so much easier but also it’s a perfect tub for our littlest. Sink baths are our favorite part of the day.
